I shot this video last summer, not long after I had purchased my Phantom 4. This was my first try at using the active track feature. What was interesting about this was how obstacle avoidance did, and did not work. The aircraft flew right through the end of a tree branch at the bottom of the driveway without stopping. Then, there were spots along the way where the aircraft would just stop because of possible obstacles. Each crossfade is where I would have to stop, readjust, and restart the active track. The top two learning lessons from this experiment were 1, it is possible to trim trees with a phantom 4, but not advised, and 2, it is nearly impossible to drive an ATV, and fly a drone at the same time, also not advised.
