Hello, I read on this forum that switching between 2.4 and 5.8 on the WiFi section of the app, actually changes the band of the link between Spark and RC, NOT between RC and phone...
And yet, what I see is that if you change the band in the APP, the green light on the RC stays green alltime, the connection between drone and RC seeems not to be lost, while the phone is disconnected instead, and then reconnected ...
Moreover, if you use OTG, the Wifi menu of the app only shows 2.4 and gives no way to change anything....


This make me think that the wifi menu on the app is determining the link RC-Phone, NOT the Spark-RC!

It is indeed for the connection between AC and controlling device (phone or RC).If you use RC, the frequency between AC-RC and RC-phone are different, to prevent interference.
Which means, if you switch from 5.8 to 2.4 between AC-RC, you also switch from 2.4 to 5.8 between RC-phone, that is why it restarts.

You are in Europe so that's how it works...
1st change to 2.4Ghz, wifi conected, and select chanel.
Then you have to plug OTG to RC. (Because your phone don't work in 5.8Ghz with the RC).

Select chanels is only avelable via wifi...

yes, but what I wanted to focus on is that if I switch 2.4<>5.8 on the app,. the wifi connection on the phone restart, while the  AC-RC connection DOES NOT, it seems to act on the RC-Phone link only, how is it possible?
