Hi, this is my first post.
Has anyone had any luck fixing (or at least reducing) banding and noise in dlog footage? I figured it'd be noisy what with it being locked at ISO 500, but didn't expect it'd be total garbage. I've got banding in the sky and huge blocks of pixelation across most of the image. I work primarily in premiere pro, and tried blurring out the sky. Also, layering the footage and using multiply blend mode - I wasn't so successful. So maybe Davinci would be better? Any suggestions or techniques for either platform would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I'm actually testing D-LOG at the moment and after a whole week of shooting D-log in Lofoten,Norway I'm sad to say the banding is really bad. In h.264 it's clearly visible and seems worse in h.265. I've tried overexposing, ETTR and middle normal exposure. It's just not  good. As soon as you start to grade it cracks up with heavy banding especially in the sky. I'm going out to shoot some Cinelike now to see how that turns out.
