wanted a mount for my spark controller and iPhone but didn't want to wait (or pay shipping and customs etc) for an off the shelf model

made my own from parts around the house (any iPhone / tablet holder would work) - attached to two layers of foam board cut to right shape

works great

Looks pretty good was the reasoning for making it  your phone didn't fit with your case?

Why did you not just use the RC holders?

Looks good. If this was 3D printed you could probably sell if for a decent amount.

Yes. This is ok solution for tablet i think.

It should be, maybe with a different mount.

My phone does fit in the rc holders on the remote - but not perfect with the case on the phone - its also easier to touch the screen edges when away from the remote and a bit higher - I also have an IPad RAM mount so have t the option of using that too - nice having the remote lower (like when you fly other RC aircraft) and the phone higher - easier to see etc.
