ive read on the net that the launch date of the  Pantom 5 will be 15th September 2017. Is this pure speculation or does someone know something that no one else does?

I threw out this exact same link in another post earlier today. Comments were to the fact that is was 100% hoax. Will be interesting to see what actually happens.

DJI Has not issued any announcements of the Phantom 5 as of today.  I just got off the phone with their corporate offices, and by the tone of the representative's voice, even they aren't aware of anything remotely close to a "release date" or media release of the P5

I never thought it was real.. just sharing what I found to op. I doubt they will be releasing anything any time soon until the spark/mavic settles down

Plot twist:  DJI actually introduces the Phantom 5, Mavic 2, Inspire 3, and a fixed wing drone all on the 15th.  And then a firmware update on the 16th that bricks them all.  

It would be nice to have a mini inspire for a phantom 5.
