So how will the black color effect the tempature of the drone?

Hey XX... no worries.  Apple devices are having problems with the latest software updates too.  

I'd imagine that a darker colour would make it harder to see during the day.

I know this because flying the Mavic Vs P4, Mavic is significantly harder to spot over the P4 when flying distance.

Kinda funny how the Mavic Platinum now has a lighter colour and the P4PO is the opposite.

At night that things gonna be hard to see

Would not it be better to first fix the bugs of the latest P4 firmware and then color the P4Ps?

I am not sure if it is the prop as much as the motors and/or software controlling the motors on the mavic pro platinum?

Does anyone know if the HDMI module cover will come in black?
Currently and technically it is marked as a P3 item, but will fit the P4P, but cover is in white.

Did they fix the gimbal flip issue with this?? Wish dji would chime in on this gimbal and talk more about it

I hate to say it, as I am a big fan of DJI, But I am starting to see a lot of Apple like behavior from DJI.  Incremental improvements remind me of Apple and the iPhones. iPhone 6 then 6 months later you get a iPhone 6s.  The only difference is that it now comes in Black.....lol

iPhone 6s was released a full year after the iPhone 6...the same cadence EVERY iPhone release has fallen into ever.  Get your facts strait before firing your mouth out!!

Nice!!! i want to buy phantom 4 pro without RC with screen (obsidian) but no stock. I still have to wait until stock come. Obsidian more better than white. it avoid dirty or yellowish.

I agree.  The Obsidian color is pretty awesome.  Someone at DJI has very good taste.

This is probably a stupid question, but why doesn't the P4P get similar enhancements as the Mavic Platinum? I.e. better ESC's and new props?

the chrome camera would be nice on the white p4p!

It looks so much more professional, and will not ger dirty as easily as the regular version. And besides all that, it's really cool. I think DJI is testing their market about design, launching a version that has the same technical features.

Does your drone get dirty?  Mine gets sticky and icky from bugs..... (ewwwww)

No need to get like that. The time frame is less important then the facts he provided. DJI definitely has a respect for Apple. However, drones are always a work in progress. Technology is always going to be upgraded.

All batteries you described are backwards compatible.
