I bought a Phantom 4 Advanced recently and have done a lot to try to get it to fly. It's been calibrated out the wazoo, it isn't in newb mode, it is registered through DJI, it's in wide open spaces when I fly, and it says it has a "weak image transmission signal" then it goes back home.

I don't get much more than a 100 feet out of in and it does this every single time. DJI tech support has helped me, but I think I'm pretty stuck. I linked my remote with the drone today and still, no dice.


Any clues or solid answers on how I can finally fly my drone?

This is happening with the spark and mavic pro also.

This may seem like a basic question, but have you set your RC antenna at 90 degrees to the craft? If you point them straight at the craft, or otherwise not be facing the craft in flight, you'll experience poor connection.

Also check chanell quality to see if any interference. You can view channel quality on the app.

Agree with 3#. Please adjust the antenna and look the channel quality when the warning pops up.
