With all the caveats around not flying beyond your line of vision for example or recklessly or in restricted zones etc, and with the product sold as able to fly from altitiudes as high as 19000 feet, what would be the extent or limit that a drone could fly vertically from the RC and pilot if it were to take off from sea level. 200m 500m 1000m 1500m or even more.
Of course my post isn't research in preperation for such a flight, more a curioisity as to its operating limits or vertical range, assuming any altitude attempt was undertaken within the relevant laws to the location being flown.

I was able to take off at 1700meters in a remote hiking place. Drone was able to climb up to its max set altitude as well, which was 500meters.

Did not experienced any problems during my whole flight.

Theoretically, the max service ceiling above sea level is 16404 feet (5000 m), and the max height for the drone is 500 meters ( 1640.42 feet).

This max height of 500 m is this hard encoded into the drone to comply with FAA and CAA rules ?
