Just recently both of my sparks have random gimbal wobbles. Sometimes so bad and won't stop I have to just give up and land. I shoot mostly in tripod mode. Any chance this is a firmware glitch? Both doing it so it seems pretty unlikely both defective. Again, 2 seperate drones doing the same thing. Flying up it wobbles left/right. Flying sideways it tilts and wobbles.

NOTE: Do not get gimbal overload message. Just rocking video. Be fine and then out of the blue it tilts.

Could you please post a short video about this issue for better assistance?

What firmware are your devices on?

It looks like the gimbal is in FPV mode, rather than follow mode. Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious but I think it would be worth checking.

Interesting.  Why would it need to be in follow mode if drone is level just floating along? Is it trying to over compensate?

You can set it to fpv mode.

Thanks. That may be it. I actually assumed one was for hand gestures and ignored. Never gave it a thought. Now since it just started out of the blue I have to assume it got changed.

Follow = gimbal to follow the horizon.
DJI should rename it horizon follow. And rename FPV to Feel like Superman mode.

Well, I could have looked it up too. It's on me that I didn't think it mattered. Won't be able to test until out of the city again next week but I am confident that is it. Makes sense now after the fact.

I had this problem yesterday twice. Not happened again by now, after 4 more flights. We'll see...

Besides, just to verify, was the drone in ATTI mode at that time? And did the drone have any impact damage before? If the answers are both negative, could you please help to export the flight data on the drone, upload it to Dropbox and paste the link here, I'll help to check. Appreciate your assistance.
