Hello DJI
Can you implement a flight simulator that is playable offline? - that is without having the phone or the remote controller connected to the drone and you have to power on the drone to play It?

This way I can have more flight time and practise offline without having to powerup my drone each time, saving my batt juice for actual flight.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like a good idea, I will forward it to our engineers.

It's been like this since the P3, and I agree, it would be GREAT to be able to do it when disconnected from the drone.

I'm always nervous there will be some glitch that will start the props spinning and it will take off in my house (hence, I always remove the props)

And, instead of watching the drone.. how about an interface of the app to look at and get used to gimble controls and remote settings?

Yes, I agree. I never use this simply because at the times when I'd like to use it I dont have the Spark physically with me. I could be doing some sim practice when I'm on the train during my commute for example. Im not going to sit there with the Spark on running the battery down and having all the noisy fans going just so i can practice on the simulator.

I get that DJI only want people who have actually purchased a drone to access the SIM for their drone type but there has to be a better and more logical way. Ive seen posts saying the device needs to be connected because of the sensors but there are other good simulators out there that can do this without being connected to a physical device.

I'd love to see a standalone version of the simulator.

knOxster:  Too funny about the train comment. I am a retired railroad conductor after 41 years riding the rails in freight and passenger service.
During my working days, if I saw you with your drone on your lap, I would do this.
Escort you to an empty car, if available, and let you fly the drone up and down the aisles.........lol

Rickyber, It would have to be in ATTI mode though, its a pain to get a GPS lock inside the rail cars
