Aside the boring subject, I am debating if the video quality is the one suppose to be as expected from SPARK.  I tried to get most of the thress, for me a hard subject to stay focus.

No editing at all, aside merging some shots, raw data extracted from the MicroSD card. iMovie. SPARK video in AUTO mode.

Video is a bit jerky. It's because you used iMovie for editing and there's a bug with either iMovie or the way that the Spark saves its clips. Who is responsible for the bug depends on who you are talking to.  You can use software to re-incode the clips before editing in iMovie. I have had some luck with speeding or slowing down the clips. You can choose custom and set 101 or 99 and that seems to make the clip play smoothly.

Thanks, I posted a 99% custom speed.

Could you please upload an original video from the SD card to the Dropbox or Google Driver? So I can download it for analysis?

To my eyes the original files look good.
I'm not sure about iMovie, but that might be the reason the youtube versions look worse.
If I edit them in Sony Vegas I have no problem with the end result.

Thanks for the feedback. I need to figure out then the best way to encode that, or move away to iMovie.
If anyone would have time to use another editor aside of iMovie of my original raw data and post, I would appreciate.

With my edits in iMovie, I was told to trim a second off of the clip before moving this onto the timeline, all my footage since I did this has been smooth.

Non trimmed clip

Smooth

See what you think.

No effects applied.
Rendered in 29.970 fps (NTSC)

Of course some artifacts due to Youtube compressing, but all in all ok.
The motion is much better.

I read about iMovie having some framerate issues here:

Before I upload to YouTube, I convert the iMovie files using Handbrake. I don't use the build in share option to go directly to YouTube. I upload from the website page instead. Here's the results of my latest edit.

Well, I do think iMovie can output true 29.97, but I cannot test it for you.

Tried Final Cut PRO,  project as 29.97 fps, exported Youtube as 29.97 fps project. Just raw data , no big stuff since I am kind of new on the Final Cut Pro.

I don't think the issue is whether iMovie can output at 29.97. It's that it doesn't recognize the frame rate correctly on video files that come from the Spark. I remember seeing someone post re-encoding using different software before importing into iMovie could fix the problem, even though the same frame rate was chosen.
