I am very interested in learning much more about this addition to the already crowded DJI family of drones...


@DJI, what has this newer version brought, that's new and innovating? Thanks for any information.

Not much me thinks.
Adopting Apple marketing. Suffixing an S or changing it a premium colour and making it hard for users to jail break.

I think DJI is aware at where they stand and have now position them to control advancements in tech they can release to maximise profit.
I just hope they dont do a Nokia and flat out on innovations.

And back on topic..Besides the decal, props, and ESC, the only DJI didnt state on their brochure was the camera 60/96fps pixel binning fix/upgrade.

The only differences are that the Mavic Pro Platinum has an extended flight time of 30 minutes with an increased hover time of 27 minutes. It also has 4dB aircraft noise reduction.

I don't think it's a huge release but I'd rather them wait until the next drone is ready instead of releasing it if it's going to be riddled with mistakes.

I know now, but thought it was important enough to ask, at the time.

Me personally, I don't even like folders with blades, never mind collapsible drones.

No, that's going to be alright.  I'm waiting for something really spectacular. I know there is going to be a new idea, that will become the next best, most desired acquisition.

Will it be from DJI, or another company with bright young, forward thinking design team?
It may take someone who's a real dreamer, that can envision the future and put it on paper.
Perhaps 3D print it...

The rotor design is more efficient allowing for a longer flight time, as part or the design they have also become quieter.  If I crash or brake my regular rotor blades I will buy the new design rotors, otherwise not worried about it.

There has always got to be a better design, on the drafting table.

It's actually a design development borrowed from stealth helicopters, lucky for us the aerodynamics still work scaled down to this small size.
