Greetings,

I have a Mavic Pro, an iPhone 7 on the iOS 11 beta. IIRC, I was on the same version of the beta and had no trouble before, but I'm including those details in case my memory is mistaken and the details matter. When I power on the RC with my phone connected, then power on the MP, the RC will connect and give info about the MP, but within the DJI Go 4 app, I just see "disconnected" and no info from the MP (no video, no other data). I have tried:

- Power cycling everything
- Updating the firmware on the RC and on the MP with the Assistant2 app on my computer
- Re-linking the RC to the MP
- Switching from RC to Wifi mode on the MP
--- This BRIEFLY showed me a video feed, then cut out...
--- Now I get a "low light" error in Wifi Mode and no video feed
- Changing out the cables
- Connecting through the middle port on the RC instead of the side port, yes, I unplugged the side cable from the RC
- Turning on airplane mode on my phone
- Deleting the chache of the DJI app on my phone, deleting the app, reinstalling

I'm super fed up. This thing is too expensive not to work reliably. I've read every thread that seemed applicable and tried everything anyone mentioned having some luck fixing the problem and no good.

Please, please help. I'm getting desperate.

Best,

JW

Call it a day and revert to iOS10.

Do you actually know that will solve the problem?

Changing to another recommended Android mobile or iOS 10 mobile will be helpful to verify the issue.

I tried on another iPhone 7 running iOS 10 and it worked fine.  My iPhone 7 is running iOS 11 Beta 9 and it shows disconnected.

I've been using iOS 11 on my mini 4 and have not had a single disconnect.

No, it could also be your phone, but reverting to iOS10 is the way to rule out beta build issues (I'm assuming you are using the latest beta release). You could try another phone not running the beta to see if the problem is instead likely to be the DJI hardware.

Actually, one thing you didn't mention is whether you checked for impacted pocket lint/debris in the phone's connection port that could be preventing a good connection.

Good luck!
