Firstly  I have loved my drone, never had any issues with it and the support has been great. UNTIL .....


I sent my drone in for repairs due to a burnt smell coming from landing gear (im assuming compass) and I got my quote today to fix it for $639.00 . $639.00 ?!?!?!?! Is this right?? I paid $639 for my drone + exchange rate so almost $900.00 for phantom 3 adv refurbished. I dont understand whats happening here. I had a slight crash and when i went to use drone again it wouldnt fly. There was nothing wrong with my drone other then the burnt wire (due to compass error)which could of be replaced ... BUT $639 to fix ??


I would greatly appreciate an explanatio.
Are you positive thats my drone? Has a mistake been made?

I shouldn't have to buy another drone over a burnt part.

A crash can cause lots of damage, some internally which you're not even aware of.

well there  charging  me for a new remote, camera and aircraft body. Like I said I don't understand what happening lol nothing wrong with camera or remote. all tt did was strike a tree branch and fell maybe 15ft into the bushes so I don't know how that would cause me to buy a new drone.

I sent in an email maybe someone here can escalate case for me that DJI Staff I hope

Thanks for the help Mindy! DJI called an I got a second opinion on my drone and it knocked my invoice down to $75. Support was very helpful and fast to look into this for me. Thanks again!
