already have hanger,but would like to build my own drone to do certain functions.

I have five drones of various size and usefulness.  Several small ones are great for indoor fun.
Otherwise its www.realflight.com drone SIM.

This Phantom 3 Pro has been exemplary.  Never had any negative issues or problematic flights.

My pilot errors are far more damaging to my drones. Haha

The Phantom is a great platform.. My 1st "real" drone, but since I got the Mavic, I would never have used it again

Nothing like having a second drone, as a spare. They look good together anyways, as well.

Yes, you wake up, and have a third drone, with the short gestation period for the digital domain.

If you cross an Inspire and a Phantom, it would be very cool, with fold up landing skids and a large camera. One hour flight time. Oh yeah...

Keep the first drone, in case you need to go on a resque mission looking for the new one.

Actually the cameras on the P 3 Standard are very strong. If  you are more about the camera, this may be the way to go.

Actually, I learned quite a bit on a P 3 Pro. This is a very strong unit, almost like a work horse and a good way to earn your wings.

Yes, the Phantom 3 Pro with an iPad Air2 is a winning combo. A pair of draft horses.

I would trade the firearms and long guns for hunting bows and quivers full of Easton FMJ shafts.
The ham radio, for fm broadcasts. We have Canada's oldest broadcaster, right here in town.

Having seen people still fly Phantom 2 Visions, aircraft can be around long after their production ceases. Of course, it is up to the individual owner whether to sell or not. However, I still own a Phantom 2 Vision Plus and it works just fine.

I get more much enjoyment out of my P3S than the money I could get for it used could justify. I'll probably wear it out. I would like a P4P because I'm a camera nerd.

When I tell people I have a second drone they always ask me do I want to sell the first one, nope not going to happen, although my P4P is fantastic, I still enjoy flying my P3S, I have always liked the look of the P3S maybe because it was my first, mmm that sounds a bit strange oh well read into it what you will

Bows aren't silent. But yeah, very much quieter than an explosive charge going off.

Target practice helps to keep you sharp. ;-)


I enjoy my Phantom 3 Pro far too much to think about selling it, or trading her up...

Hi, You guys are crazy. My first girl has been returned for repairs...  She was less than 90 days new. Cracks under motors, between screws. NP ... I'd sell in a  NY minute. I see a Mavic next season.

Crazy, well, um, ah, speaking for myself only maybe I am or maybe not what is crazy? Trying to add a bit of humour to the thread can't be all that bad. I am sad that you have issues with your drone I do hope you get them resolved soon. I have live video issues with my P3P and range issues from time to time but I have learnt to live with it could be the tablet I don't know, going to try another tab when the weather gets better, all the best
