Hi all,  I just did an IMU Calibration and all went well.  

I have just viewed a YouTube video where the individual also linked his RC.  They turned on their RC, connect RC to WIFI, turned on their Spark, then launched GO4 app.  Once this was completed he did the IMU Calibration steps.  I wasn't connected to the RC when I did mine.

Is this an issue? should I do it again with the RC connected?  or, is it ok the way I did it?

You should be fine, the spark is designed primarily to work with your phone or tablet, the RC is an accessory
So it can do a calibration without or with the RC

Agree with lannes, no worries, it should be ok.

In addition, you can check your IMU status through "sensor" in  "Main Controller Settings"  and see if it works well.
