In that case, DJI should list it as being applicable for the Inspire-2, inform the community via the Forum and also update the Download page!Furthermore the details for the new App states specificaly:

- Bug fixes.

Why should anyone expect benefits for use with an Inspire-2?

DJI Go4 1.9 for IOS has been out for a week, I have flown it several times without issues.

The focus of update should be whether it brings any improvement. If not please do not waste user time. There is also a chance that the consequences will introduce more bugs given dji reputation at this point.
