I recently bought a Huawei MediaPad M3 (yesterday). This is my first Android Tablet. It will not connect to My P4P or Mavic Pro. My iPhone +7 connects fine. I bought this because GPS enabled on most Android tablets and to really consume media as well. I have searched the forums and I have 1. Enabled USB Debugging in the Developer Mode and 2. Changed the USB setting to Media Transfer instead of charging, yet the tablet still charges when plugged into the P4P remote. Am I missing something???

I even reached out to this person who has a YouTube video of him using the Huawei MediaPad M3 Android Tablet. His response was basically "works right out of the box".

Seems like you need to update your firmware

firmware to the tablet? It's running newest updates of Android and MiUI.

P4P firmware is updated as well.

Try to reinstall the APP, then use the original USB cable of the tablet, see if it works.

FIXED!!!

Didn't even need all that complicated "Developer mode enable".

here are the steps:
>reset to default Developer Mode so any changes I made go back to original
>turn off Developer Mode
>used USB from controller to Micro USB on the tablet
>works.
>only difference is I used the USB cord from the tablet and then tested other USB cords. Appears that the USB cords that came with everything else I own outside of the DJI cords work. That is strange because the DJI cords work with all my Apple devices. But none of them work with my Android Tablet.

Problem fixed. In sum it was just the USB cord.

I had the same problem but now thanks to your advice it's just fixed. It was all for the usb cord.
I am very happy about Huawei MediaPad M3 lite (4 giga RAM version). 8.4 inch are anought for flying, and the system is super stable! Never crash until now.
