I have done every thing asked of me in this forum, calibrate, recalibrate, insatll, uninstall , reinstall.. I still get disconnected 800 ft out. when is this going to be resolved ??

Are you losing all communication with your drone or are you specifically losing Video Transmission?  (Important to be accurate with your answer)

maybe your line of sight of bad or antenna position. Where are you flying?

It is both, video and signal. antennas are set per DJI recommendations..

this is from my backyard, I had no issues until the last update, i went out out 1.5 miles from the same place..

in the MC setting check and see how far you have the distance limit too if so change it to 8000m

Just to verify, it is a Phantom 4, right? Was the drone triggered RTH when the APP shows disconnected? Are you able to use the RC to control it? What mobile device are you using? What is the APP version? What is the firmware version?

good morning, it is a P4P, RTH was triggered once, I am using I-Pad air-2, last updated firm ware..

Double checked, do you place the antenna as the below video, right? How about changing to another location without interference?

Have you tried what Susan suggested in the post 11#? You can also try to fly the drone in different open areas, please keep us updated.
