Hi All,

I can't upgrade the firmware on Mavic Pro. Now, my version of RC and AC are not matched, my AC can't take off anymore due to the reason.
My AC is still on 01.03.04 version.
My RC is on 01.03.1 version.
I tried a lot of times with DJI Assistant 2 and GO Apps, both also cannot.
Then I used different PC to try, and all the upgrades failed too.
Then Finally, I decided to reset my RC to 01.03.04 version, yet it failed too.
Then I tried to use DJI GO 4 Apps to downgrade my RC, and yet it only has one option, which is  01.03.1 version.

Oh no! I'm very dissappointed and tired. Please help. Thank you.

This is a known issue, please provide me with your DJI account and we will release a beta V01.03.0813, upgrade it and then please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest version, it will be working.

Hi Thor, can I also obtain the base rollback version of software please? Since new in July, my Mavic has not been able to be upgraded. I've tried every which way through Assistant on Mac, iPhone, iPad both over good wifi and cellular. All devices are running latest version of apps and software and I run iPhone 7 plus and 2016 15" MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. Only the RC has upgraded to .900. I have not attempted to update the RC to .1000 as I see people have done this and the drone now fails to launch. I did try an AC upgrade to .1000 but it fails at 44% whereas with the .900 upgrade it always failed at 60%. The error code continually displayed is Undefined 0x020106.

So AC is still on .400 from factory and RC now on .900. I'd love to try the roll back to .350 and then upgrade whilst recording video to see if it works for me. Let me know if you can assist please.

Today I tried to upgrade the firmware on my Mavic Pro using the controller/iPhone 6S. I then ran into unknown issues whereby the firmware upgrade failed. The result was my battery then bricked - the two centre green lights flashed at 15 second intervals and would not power or recharge. I found a post on the Mavic Pilots website that stated the firmware should be upgraded by use of the DJI Assistant 2 application and this will also unbrick the battery.  I tried this but unfortunately, there wasn't enough power in my bricked battery to even initialise the Mavic. I did eventually upgrade the firmware with a different battery.  However, I am now left with a bricked battery which has only seen less than an hours use!  All I did was attempt a firmware upgrade.   Any suggestions on how I may recover this problem battery would be appreciated.

Can someone please help,

I just bought DJI goggles and I had to update my firmware on Mavic Pro. Now, my version on my Remote control is .1000 and AC is on .0500 and my AC can't take off anymore.
I've tried 3 different PC 3 different USB cables many times with the DJI Assistant 2 and DJI 4 GO App, nothing seems to work I get a Undefined Error 0x020106. I've tried phoning support and all they want me to do is send in my drone for repair, which they are saying can take up to 3-4 weeks. This has really upsetting me. I have never had such issues with Dji's support or lac of nor any firmware problems. I have 2 P4's 1 MP and never had a issue. I've always spoke highly of Dji. 2 of my friends have Mavic Pros and are looking at getting goggles also, I'm not sure if I should tell them to buy them after this.  

I'm dissappointed in DJI's response to my problem. Please help. Thank you.

Please remove the battery and try to charge it for about 2 hours, and then mount the battery to the aircraft, connect your drone to the computer and try to upgrade it via DJI Assistant 2 again. The middle 2 LED lights will keep lighting and the power button of the battery will not work until the upgrade is successful. If it doesn't help, I suggest sending it back if the battery is under warranty period.

Well my new Mavic arrived today... I leave for USA Canada holiday Thursday.  I go out for a test flight and all is well and then I lose Video transmission... I spend hours trying to update firmware... Worked fine on the controller and wont update the Mavic. I try different cards I try everything cords swithing on and off. I phone update... Nothing.  Soooo disappointed. A brand new Mavic that I can't use and from what I see so many ppl with the same problems.  Someone tell me how software and firmware updates with so many bugs can be released.  $2000 and I can't even fly it.

Please try to restart the drone for several times. then try to refresh the firmware via DJI Assistant 2, see if it works.

I'm sorry about this. Please contact the support to send it in: http://www.dji.com/support. We will offer you corresponding solutions according to the damage assessment. Hopefully it can be figured out soon.

  Still waiting for V.0813. How long does it take to receive the firmware and how is it delivered (email, Dji assistant or app)? I checked under Beta in Dji assistant and nothing there. Can either of you help push this along so I can get back flying again.

Hi DJI Thor. I'm experiencing exactly the same problem with updating firmware on my Mavic Pro.

The RC updates with no problem to 01.03.1000 but the AV is unable to, it is stuck on 01.03.0400. I've tried to update it through bot DJI Go 4 and DJI Assistant many many times but I keep seeing the same thing. Part way through the AV reboots after which the installation stalls and then eventually fails with error "0x020106".

I would be grateful if you or one of the other DJI team could make 01.03.0813 available to me in DJI assistant. I have already PM'd you my DJI account details. Thanks very much.

Hello,

I have the same problem.

RC in version 01.03.1000
AC in version 01.03.900

I get stuck at any attempt to upgrade, either with assistant or the app.
Error code is 0X20106

Not test the record function, you should make sure the drone is recording at the same time when you are upgrading the firmware to the latest one.
