Hi. Next week i go bali. When i open my app DJI GO 4 and saw map offline. I choose indonesia map offline and need to download all map only indonesia before i go there? or no need? Just use hotspot wifi and auto search map? I afraid that if go there and cannot recognised the place when use mavic pro.

I think it would be better if you downloaded the offline map on DJI GO 4 app previously. Then check it on the app. That might be an insurance.

Are you using an Android device? Launch the APP, click the icon in the top right corner of the homepage, you'll see the Offline Map.

No, i'm using an iPhone 6 that is now purely used for Mavic. No sim card so i need to download maps before i leave my home wi-fi I assume. Is it the same process for iOS?

If you have Wifi hotspot where u fly, itll just load the map. You guys understand that even without a map you can still fly right? You just cant see a map.

I used a crystalsky and was just in Ubud. Downloaded offline maps coz I didnt know if I would be near wifi.

Im not sure...I never really thought PAL/NTSC would make a difference in the video smoothness. Its an old TV issue, but not really anymore

It's the same process for iOS in that you navigatge to the intended flight area while connected to the internet, but I find I never use the map, preferring the radar-like view. Have fun -- I'm quite jealous. ;)

Nope, iOS devices don't have the offline map to download. You can try to cache the map when you have WiFi resource. This is the route: enable "Cache Map in the Background", navigate the map to the destination you would go, when the names show, the cache finished. You can shut down the internet and check the map again.

only i know ntsc is much smooth. ntsc got 30fps. pal only 24fps and 25fps. you try switch to ntsc with 30fps and see. me current used ntsc 30fps. you can try and see then send video here. haha

Nope, the process is different for iOS, Thor replied you with the process for iOS in the post 13#.
