Hi,

Is it possible to capture ‘Sphere’ Panorama Images using the Mavic Pro, as you can with the Spark ?

Cheers

It can't capture ‘Sphere’ Panorama Images, but we've forwarded this request to our engineers already, hope they can take it into consideration.

Do you mean polar panorama's? This sort of thing - https://www.viewbug.com/photo/59418705
You can do  these easily enough with a little time via Photoshop.

you can do it using the litchi app and then stitching software, e.g. Autopano.
Not the easiest workflow but results are worth it.

That would be really great. Currently, the Mavic offers so many fly modes to take great videos but there is no support to take great photos besides the standard camera settings.

I would also love to see a timelapse mode in which the drone moves really slowly (maybe 1m per minute) for 20 minutes and takes a photo every 10 seconds. Those are then turned into a timelapse movie.

Are there currently no time lapse or slo mo options for the Mavic  ?

Not really. Even in tripod mode the Mavic flies way too fast for time lapse shots. And the GPS and VPS are lacking precision to do this manually. Indeed, with some support during flight and some post-processing it should be possible to get some nice time lapse clips.

If you're using IOS, you can use the Hangar 360 app

I know... I've gotten reasonable results editing with FCP.

Exactly, like you can with the iPhone 7+/7. And the iphone shoots a still of 4K quality.

I have a spark, and I see no way to take a sphere with mine?  Do  you mean a full 360 sphere?

Yup, can't do it with current GO 4 App, no drone can take a full 360 "sphere" composite photo, as there is a minimum of a 90° blind spot directly above the drone and the camera has 30° tilt up restriction, that said I find Litchi provides the best 360° Pano. Takes a little bit to stitch them together in post edit.
I use Hugin and/or Microsoft Image Compositor for compiling photos into 360 Pano.
