Anyone have comments on working with Ground Station Pro?  I am just starting to use it.  What do you like, what don't you like.  

It seems to work okay so far, but I don't like that the flights don't sync.

hi,
No numbers in waypoint. I have only a white circle with no number inside.
Add the function "Orbit" on way point.
Where are the flights logs of GS pro ? i dont see it anywhere.

The flight logs will be kept in the aircraft, not the GS Pro. There is no flight records when use GS Pro.

Ok Susan, then if I crash my aircraft using GSPro, I will dont know the issue ?

If you can retrieve the drone,  we can try to export the data which is inside the drone for analysis as long as the drone is in the warranty period.

I understand, but I miss having the Sync Flight Data like I have on the other DJI app.  (It's not like it's a different company either.....)

I subscribe to Airdata, so not being able to sync flight data is a huge issue.

Interesting... I sync my flights (using DJI Go) then I let Airdata import it.  I have found it very helpful.

How do you do that? I didn't know GO would sync flights flown with GS Pro.

Sorry, sorry... sorry... you are right... GO will sync if GO was used.... GS Pro will not sync at all..... (and I hate it).

Yeah, I am bummed it won't.  Makes no sense... it's like DJI is saying "we will let you track distance and time and your flight plan, but only if it's a hobby.  If you are serious and using it professionally then you can't track it".  (Me with a confused look on my face)

It´s my first time here...

I was working GS Pro with 3D Map Area Mission without problems. I like it. But, today I was starting with Waypoint Flight Mission and it doesn´t work. I prepare the flight with waipoints, then I load tne mission. The drone take on, and it stops flying 2 or 3 meters over the ground.  Nothing more.

What is the problem? I don´t understand

I haven't tried waypoints yet... I just started with the fence and with a simple mapping exercise.  Waypoints will be later this week... (Once we get out of this rain)

In gspro edit your way point
Then click on ´ALL POINTS'
Then you can see ´AUTO'
If it is on ´Manual' the bird stay at 1 meter above the ground.

Ground station pro cannot detect my aircraft in the State of Hawaii

To the OPs question:
Flight syncs work fine.  I'd recommend setting the bird on a table sans props, connecting the RC / pad / phone like you're about to fly  a mission, then fire up GS P.  It should sync, once your DJI account connects.  It'll tank your battery power on the iPad really fast!  Keep the iPad plugged in...

Have played with it enough to get kml's from previous waypoint missions on my PS3 standard / PS4 from airdata (healthydrones) kml's; and have converted to maps, but with 400+ points and no way to select all, but start / finish -- delete; seems best to just use an advanced KML editor; which requires time; conversion; testing...

The GS P help is sparse.  Glad DJI is starting the work on an integrated WayPoint / flight plan app with their birds, again, but there's much lacking.  

How about a detailed manual, or, if the engineers are too lazy, send us a list of the easter eggs so we can explore.

Hello! I've been using GSP to to map study areas using the 3D map project type. It generally works really well, although it only seems to be taking pictures (at the 'constant time interval' capture setting. nadir images) on every second line of our grid. Why is this? It is wasting battery to fly an entire length of the area without taking pictures, the area is roughly square). If it is because the program has decided it has satisfied the overlap requirements I have set, it should calculate the transects at a wider interval. I can't understand why it is doing this. Any insight would be appreciated. Cheers!

Without seeing one of your problem images, it's not possible to be certain.
But I would guess it's a focus issue.

Where are you viewing the pictures, on your phone/tablet or from the aircraft's SD card on a computer?

Are you talking about still photos taken with the camera or stills grabbed from a video clip?
