Hi,

I'm new to the drones and filming world.

I bought a P4P filmed some short movies using different video settings and all happen to freeze while playing on my LG tv, though my friend's movies from his Mavic play normally.
Please note that the same movies shot by P4P plays normally on any laptop.

Any setting advice will be helpful and appreciated, see the properties of both videos in the attached photo, MOV 7 is Mavic and 366 from my P4P !!

Is your LG TV  HD-Capable? Or  Smart TV?   I have an LG Smart TV which is capable of viewing video shot in 4K Ultra HD as well as 1080 HD.  If you cannot view video's shot by your drone, you could try a lower resolution, and a 25FPS rather than 29 FPS frame rate, see if that makes any difference?

It's a smart 4K UHD, I can watch 4K videos shot by Mavic without any freezing while those shot by P4P freezes for a split second continuously.

The TV supports the following formats: AVC, AVI, TS, WMV, Xvid, DivX, H.264, HEVC, M4V, MKV, MOV, MPEG-4, TP

What about the display setting? Is it PAL or NTSC?  Is the video shot in the right system?

Yes, for your country it is PAL.  Here is a link to a list for all countries in PDF format:

USA Canada etc is NTSC

It's all about resolution size. Consider a smaller resolution and it will work for you.

Both PAL and NTSC are freezing on 4K, on 1080HD works fine

I do agree, but why not make a use of the 4K since the drone shots 4K and the TV is 4K...
I hate ME

Bleriot, thanks a lot

PAL or NTSC are irrelevant, ignore them. They only apply to the now obsolete analogue television transmission standards. They do not apply to modern digital television systems and certainly not to High Definition files. No file produced by a DJI aircraft is in PAL or NTSC.

In the video setup menu there is an option to switch from one to the other

Yes, but that does not mean that they are correct. It simply gives you a choice of which frame rates are close to that countries power line frequencies, and that does not mean anything these days either. As I said, it is irrelevant today.
