MrRobert5823, you could also check your local craigs list. That way you can meet the person and have them prove that it is all in order and you can see it fly properly. Safety First! Ken.

i would suggest looking on forums that would be your safest best then you can get history of each person kinda like ebay but you cant talk to others who know that person and if you can trust the seller

Ebay and authorised dealers with new old stock/returns I guess.         

Does buying an "unopened" DJI product off something like eBay still retain the DJI service warranty? There's no situation where it would be voided by selling through a third party is there?

DJI will still work on it but pretty sure there will be no valid warranty as it wasnt bought new from DJI or an authorized DJI dealer. but i may be wrong.

Ive had a used X3 repaired through the DJI center in Cali and just had to pay the cost out of pocket

I’m selling my Mavic Air with the fly more combo. It’s in new condition. Never been flown in bad weather, never crashed. I love this drone. I just recently bought another, much more expensive drone and my wife says I don’t need 2 drones, so, if any one is interested let me know.

In the US I'd say DJI store - look under refurbished units

I bought my I1 v2 from Heliguy UK - next day delivery and great service. They still sell brand new I1 v2's. Couldn't resist
