Is there a better way, or a preferred choice for filming slow motion footage. Can you record in SloMo using the settings on the RC /DJI Go4 app or do you record
in real time, and then adjust the film speed in Final Cut Pro/iMovie etc. ?

Record at a higher FPS setting (say 60 FPS) and then use your favorite editing software to create the slow motion effect.
I agree that it is always best to use post production to create the effects needed.
If you record at 96p, you can stretch your footage 3,2x and still keep a 30p frame.
Not true slow motion, but a nice effect.
Or switch to HD resolution and film 120fps.
I made some with my iPhone at 240fps, so you will get 2x less this effect with 120fps.
The problem with the Mavic is that ALL footage above 30 FPS is basically unusable 60 fps and over that looks horrible. But as a general rule of thumb the other replies are spot on.

Why is that?
(I don't own one yet, but do consider buying one)
