Goggles can play mp4 movie files from sd card. But it works with NO SOUND. Tried different sond codecs (as3, aac, mp1/2/3) no result. How can I play movies from sd card with sound?

Videos from aircraft do not have any sound recorded as they are flying in air, there is no microphone on the aircraft.

I mean not videos from aircraft, but usual movies. To use goggles as cinema viewer.

For example demo videos from goggles play with sound, but if I copy a cinema on sd card it plays with no sound.

Please notice that if you copy video on SD card, it is nomal that it play without sound. And I would recommend you use HDMI to watch the video , then you can hear the sound.

Will it possible to play video from sd card with sound in future firmwares? Its comfortable to use DJI goggles as video glasses in travel for example.

No information on that now. However, it is not out the realm of possibility.

Wow - how did you get mp4 to play from SD the card?  When I copy mp4 files to the SD card with a computer, even files generated by the Mavic, the goggles won't find them and says file list empty.  Any additional tricks needed?

Put your files in a folder called 100MEDIA inside a folder called DCIM on the card.

Right, files must be in DCIM\100MEDIA folder. It must be mp4 files with resolution not higher than 1080p.

No sound problems resolved with the new firmware upgrade!
