Besides hard charging my Spark's RC controller to the battery charging unit- Can I assume when my RC controller is connected with an interface cable to my Iphone, that the Iphone is supplying a charge to the RC controller?

ShedLo, I just had a test with cable. And the phone won't supply a charge to the RC controller. Thanks for support.
