Hi all,

I initially bought the 4 pro plus and then later bought the 4 pro controller as I wanted to use a tablet screen and possibly try Litchi.

I know the 4 pro RC doesn't have the HDMI output module, but the 4 pro plus does.

The question is, can I swap it out of the 4 pro plus and install into the 4 pro RC ?  .....or do I have to buy a seperate hdmi module?

thanks

Looking at it and the hdmi you can purchase it should not be a problem to do it, you could try opening it up to see if everything is there to transfer to pro RC.

P4p+ hdmi module is not the same as the p4p module, there is more on plus version including a SoC (System on Chip)

Just to be clear

Are you telling that they are different and/or therefore can not work or just htat there are differences?

OC if connectors etc is different it would be more than a simple swap but ...
I would guess that a FW refresh are needed after mounting, who ever dares that now a days.

Aloha fans702,

Unfortunately this is apples and oranges.  The HDMI output on the P4 Pro+ (plus) is 1080p.  The HDMI output on the "to be installed" HDMI module for the P4 Pro is 720p.  If you can get your hands on an nVidia Shield K1, it has a HDMI output that is rated at 1080p and it is a matter of debate whether the P4 Pro remote controller can put out a 1080p signal like the P4 Pro+ (plus).  But in my case, it looks very crisp on my secondary monitor and goggles.  My 1080p goggles with my P4 Pro using HDMI give me 20/20 vision.

I would tend to agree with SM-17 and others who point out the differences in the P4 Pro and the P4 Pro+ (plus) HDMI modules.  It will not work because DJI has them "wired" differently.

     Hope this helps!

A CAN-BUS Port can be used to add modules such as a Bluetooth, the 4 pins consists of +6V, GND, CANL and CANH

DJI says it's for future development

1. I have a question, I have Phantom 4Pro + (plus), so video downlink transmition to remote controler is 1080p or 720p?
2. Second question, does P4Pro + hdmi output offers uncompressed video (like 8bit 4:2:2 YCC ?)
3. I gues after decoding to h.264 and h.265 video gets coded to 8bit with 4:2:0 YCC colors, or am I wrong?
