I had my Mavic stolen last week while I was on vacation.
I was wondering if DJI can block my drone by its serial number on next updates.
Or... if they can track if the flight data is uploaded to the servers via app.

hopefully.  but it seems that you are on your own..  i suggest first and foremost, police, contact the police file a report get a case number and work with DJi on it then after.  

I wish I could lock my Mavic like an iPhone.... maybe DJI could make something like this in the future... the technology aready exists...

We are sorry to hear tyour drone was stolen and you must be very frustrating, but unfortunately the drone cannot be locked by serial number at the moment. You may try to contact local authorities for further assistance, they may help to find the drone.

I totally agree. Can we link user with serial and lock the drone.
Also I can imagine they won't use the drone according to regulations.
That alone can be really bad and dangerous.

In the future only a valid user of the serial should be able to use the drone. 4 digit pin before every take of

Police reference number is a way to massage the Police's sense of they have done their job. Nothing will come of it untill the dooshbag who stole ot dopes something stupid with it and they come knocking at your door.

Come on, why is this still not integrated in the system? DJI drones cost even more than iPhones. Make it happen.
