In my daily photo and video shoot I need a closer look and was thinking of adding a doubling lens. I founded adaptors and doubler but the weight is way off. I undestand the added weight won't work with our gimbal cam. But what about I wait until the self test finish then screw the doubling lens while powered on and have a support of some sort to hold the cam in place. I could do my shoot without moving the gimbal. Does that make sens to you guys?

Lets assume you will be able to disable the gimbal functionality entirely and have the its motors stuck in the same position, thus having the gimbal act as a fixed hanger. Don't you think that any shot with or without zoomed lens would be useless due to the continuous motion and vibration of the I1 in the air?
