Wondered with new Mavic Pro Platinum and Phantom Obsidian just out as new or improved versions of current models .

What folks would like to see next a totally new model Phantom 5  with better camera longer battery life new features what would you like in new package?


Or go down compact route like the Spark easy to fly more gesture modes  better camera .


Or go with a new foldable design a smaller Mavic Pro design ?


I am new to drones and enjoying challenges went in entry with Spark and love it .
Being patient to wait for next model ............will it come before Christmas ?

Something in between Spark and MP. Foldable legs, better camera and gimbal,  more flight time.

Phantom 5 most important improvements camera although it will be difficult to improve on the camera that's all ready there. Mavic 2 same better camera.

I want to see a spark with a foldable legs.  Phantom 5 retractable landing gears.

i want the next or new version of whatever model to be cheaper! lol

Thanks for those advice and I believe our engineers will do their best to make improvement in our products. Please feel free to give suggestions.

Retractable gear be cool but most probably very pricey .......!

The spark has the same camera sensor of the Mavic Pro.  We need a three axes gimbal which will give us 4k video.

I'm extremely satisfied with the Spark, but one improvement would be battery life.

I think we may see better battery 18/20 minutes would be great, this must be possible.

Bigger battery on Spark would be awesome.

I think the weight should get below 250 grammes.
That would make it a  “microdrone”, which has less restrictive regulation in several countries.

Maybe not. My brother-in-law just got a Typhoon H, similar specs and price to a Mavic Pro and it has retractable landing gear with a 360 degree camera. Granted, it doesn't fold up into a neat small package like the Mavic, but it does look kind of cool.

That would be great perhaps carbon fibre for strength and weight saving more efficient quieter  props
a battery of similar size but more efficient giving longer flight times  . A better camera with longer exposure time option longer than 1 sec with raw/dng capability .
This could be pushing it(fantasy world!) as well as obstacle avoidance some kind of evasive action if say a bird takes a dislike to drone (did see u tube clip where guy had his taken out by a seagull) the drone could drop height /evade the predator !!

In good weather, I usually fly all 4 batteries of the Mavic then all 4 batteries of the Spark. In bad weather (been raining a lot this year), I fly the Spark inside the house. I also use the Mavic for real estate. So, it would be a toss up as to which I fly the most.
