Please bring the aircraft outside with strong GPS signal, then reboot all devices.

I get this issue sometimes as well. Without warning for no reason that I can tell. Is this a bug of some sort or does the I2 require a data connection to check certificates?

I've had issues similar to this. I think I had to update each set of batteries with the activation process in "Assistant".  So, insert set of batteries, launch Assistant on your computer, turn on I2 with USB plugged into computer etc., connect and go to License tab and activate.  Redo this process for each set of batteries. Good luck,
