I've recommended Tom's Tech Time (on youtube) several times to folks.   Today, I discovered a new video by Tom describing how to use your drone to do something that Alfred Hitchcock invented called "vertigo".  Essentially, you start with a foreground subject and a background subject.  You fly away from it while zooming in.  Conversely, you fly towards it while zooming out.  So, I did my first try today using a small lawn ornament as the subject and my neighbor's house as a background.  It's pretty cool.  

Now I'm sick.   Cool...but I get vertigo attacks.

That technique has been used with great effect in movies like The Shining, and Jaws, to name just two.

I have a mavic pro.  I used iMovie to process the video and the Ken Burns effect within iMovie to do the zooming.

Ahh ok thanks didn't think the mavic was capable of a smooth zoom like that. Nicely done and thanks for sharing

Yes, the zooming is done when you process the video.  Tom used an Adobe video editor.  Here's his  instructional video on how to do it:
