Explain please. What is the application of the new Dynamic Home Point that update periodically using aircraft position?

Yeah, I am really curios about it too.

This means when I use the Spark with no connected device the Hp refreshes itself every 15m and there is no distance limit anymore in tracking?

Thank you Elktra. So this is to prevent the aircraft (Spark and Mavic) from flying back to initial takeoff position when both pilot and aircraft moves together.

So if you Active Track something or someone but you do not move together with the aircraft, this feature should be turned off in new DJI Go 4.1.10 to let RTH to take off location.

The HomePoint shouldn´t be on the Phone/Remote location instead of Aircraft position?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, this is to fix the issue where in gesture mode you only get a 15m from palm launch range.
By the sounds of it, you palm launch, it grabs homepoint. As its tracking you, at 15m intervals it updates its homepoint. This is good because the homepoint will only ever be a max 15m away from the drone at any point. Meaning if you palm launched at one side of a field and tracked yourself to the other, if your battery got too low it wont try and fly back to the other side of the field, it will land 15m back at its last set homepoint. Hopefully it will also take into account RTH at current altitude as its homepoint is inside 20m.
My next question will be, if this is correct then what will be the maximum range for the spark in gesture mode? Will it be 100m the same as if its connected to a phone or unlimited as it will only ever be 15m from a homepoint.

Hmm.... Just my guess. The Dynamic homepoint by default is disabled. It can be enabled only if you activate Active Track or Gesture which requires you to do operation on Dji Go App. The feature will be automatically reset to disabled when you exit from Active Track or Gesture. Which means the homepoint is set to the last one before you exit the mode. If you do not reset homepoint or redo takeoff and continue flying after exiting the mode, then at some point you activate RTH, Spark will fly back to last set home point.

Sounds good to me, I forgot to update my RTH point yesterday, nearly had to walk approx a mile when my RTH initiated, luckily was able to cancel and land the drone where I was.

What will it do after RTH?
1) stay at current altitude
2) hover at 30cm
3 land
4) as preset by pilot

( hope the answer is 1 or 4)

This might be the flyaway to last known dynamic home point case.

Would be nice  to be able to enable for normal flight modes as well (for when controlling from moving boat etc)
