Hi all,

I am trying to narrow down signal issues that I am having at some locations (heavy 2.4 wifi coverage of the area, compass showing excellent, but the bar is pretty full, BT disabled and Wifi connect to the RC)

My understanding is that the Powermode is choosed automatically, based on location, but how to verify which one is used?

I am getting very mixed results on flight distance (from disconnects at 60m alt / 100m dist, to 120m alt/200m dist) and would really like to get to the bottom of it.

Already ordered range extenders and OTG, to give that a try at the same spot.

Thanks in advance for any hints,
LXK

if you are in Russia probably CE

connect the RC to spark and the phone to RC (no OTG), then go to the setting section in the app..
select the Wi-Fi section...
in 2.4G  Mode  if you are in FCC you should see 11 channels.., otherwise you are in CE

Thanks, looks like FCC though, despite being in Russia.

Spark will switch automatically according to the local standard, no worries.

Does this mean the range will be limited by the area you fly in?

I bought my Spark from the USA but fly in England.

Ratters, you are right. I would recommend you use 2.4G when you fly in England. Thanks for support.

I don't see an option to switch to 2.4ghz - but I see this in 5.8ghz - how can I tell if I'm on CE or FCC mode?
