This cant be hapening??!!Every Dji go app update on android makes more dificult to fly that spark....I try the new update and i cant go even 100 meters without image pause ....Are theese people serius?I thing that the dev team must be fired.....OMG are you serius people?Make it work not destroy it at all....I am not the wired on here...look at the playstore what users say ....Latest version is now 4.1.9 .2.7 user rating playstore..

Not sure if it is just CE related but that might be the case.
Just had a reply from someone flying over 1000m far without issues, (FCC of course)

Just try today the new version ....with the previous version in same spot i had image pauses on 700 meters distance in CE.....Now in the same location i have image pauses in 100 meters distance!!!!Otg mode of coursein 2.4 ghz....

They have limited the flight distance with the OTG cable connected. I'm not happy with this, as feel unconfident to fly without the cable connected.

OTG is not officially supported, so why all are complaining about it?
Just use the Spark as it is intended to use. The Saprk is a selfie drone, buy a Mavic if you want a rock solid video transmission over several kilometers.

Yup its true, I checked with both the cable connected and disconnected. The flight limits are capped at 50m up and 100m distance, if you take the cable out, you can adjust the max distances again. You can also select frequency and channels now, based on the strongest wifi

Friend you have misjudged me....I don want many kilometers distance....I want only that they advertise 500 meters with no drop out signal and stable image in 2.4 ghz and 300 in 5.8 ghz,.......Well i don't have anything of that. 2.4 ghz is not working in eu ( channel issue) 5.8 ghz it goes 100 meters then problems started.....The only way to achieve what they advertises was OTG.....I am very frustrated

This is with the iOS update. You can check by going into the distance settings to see if this applies to Android also

I think some DJI employee should clearly tell about this.
We should not be the ones to figure out. Just like the update notes they write, they have to notify everybody that they are limiting some stuff due to some reasons.

Hi. I live in UK and have exactly these same problems, always have. Not flown in past week so as yet to try with new update. I can't get onto 2.4 channel anymore it just won't allow it and i have problems with OTg also. Aside from that its great!!
