Hi all, I cannot control the gimbal via remote control, but when i connect my mobile phone directly to the drone (if it was the remote control), the gimbal controls works fine. When doing the "specials",  dronie, rocket, etc via the RC, gimbal seems to work fine. Any thoughts on this ?

When did it happen? Please provide the following information of version, such as, RC, drone,app. Thanks.

Spark fw version 01.00.0600
RC fw version 01.00.0400
Iphone 7 latest ios
Latest DJI Go 4 app

Hi,
The drone did not crash before, and the gimbal functionality seems to work fine, nice stable pictures and movies but i cannot control the gimbal via the RC.

These are the tests I performed.

1) drone controlled with rc and iphone 7 attached via otg
a) fly around make some movies and photos, all nice and stable, as i would expect
b) tried to turn the scroll wheel and the gimbal is NOT tilting <------
c) made a rocket shot of myself, camera kept me in the middle, drone flew above me and ascended and kept me focussed

2) drone connected via wifi to iphone 7
a) drone started up and i was able to control the gimbal via the up and down arrow

First assumption:
- gimbal works fine, since rocket shot works and control via iphone 7 works
- control wheel in RC does not control the gimbal

Or do i need to "assign" gimbal functionality to the scroll wheel in a menu of the app ?

Since i am on holiday, i wont be able to upload any flight data till the end of september

Overall i am very happy with the drone, quilty of pictures and movies.

Did one other test

1 d) assigned toggle gimbal down/forward to Fn key on RC, this turns indeed gimbal down/forward.

Please try to adjust your Gimbal Pitch Speed and see if it is zero. Thanks for your support.

My guess is your gimbal pitch speed is set to 0

I have mine set at 20 and works perfectly

I have the same issue, I'll try to set the gimbal at 20, but I don't know how to control it anyway... using which button?

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience, for you to control the gimbal of your aircraft you have to use the gimbal dial which is located at top left. Please see the details below for your reference. Thank you.

Nice to hear that. I have some suggestion as well please give a try to calibrate the remote also and please keep us posted. Thanks!
