hi all, today the new version 4.1.11 of the GO 4 App showed up in the iOS AppStore. I read the version history and it seems to be identical to the one that came with the 4.1.10 which itself is barely some days old. Is it correct to assume that no functionality has been added and 4.1.11 contains only some error corrections?

BTW I appreciate DJI refining the GO Software and the overall performance of an already shipped product.

No, clue..just downloaded new version. A bit strange that .700 still not released.

DJI, what is the difference between 4.1.10 and 4.1.11 GO4 app.  When can we expect the firmware update?

Usually a quick follow on release with the same feature set as the previous one is done to resolve a bug that was found after ship. I'm guessing that is all that is in the .11 fix is a minor bug fix(es).

This is the 2nd app update I've had this week. Interesting

Agree. It sounds like a hotfix patch.

so the new features in the app require a firmware version that is not yet released?  great.  i noticed that manual camera control in videos is available now, so that is a nice addition.

i suspect it will be on sept 28th. the reason i say this is because dji has been advertising a big update that has something to do with palm control for the 28th. i could be wrong.

I didn't noticed any difference.

I flew on the new app over the weekend, played with the manual exposure controls in video mode a bit.  only problem is that I still can't get a panorama to come out.  it doesn't show up in the album, but the photos are on the SD card.  I was able to stitch them together with microsoft's image composite editor however.

Tap play back then tap the photo with the pano icon and the GO 4 editor will stitch them automatically (do this before formatting). You can also download DJI Media Maker from the OSMO downloads and stitch your pano's recorded on your micro SD card on your mac or PC - these panos are much better quality and look like professional grade stills.
