Today the beta version 02.00.0300 tested because iOS 11 is installed on my iPad Air2 since yesterday. DJGo app in Germany is still on version 4.1.10.
P4 had to restart three times since no image transfer came. Then everything was fine. Recording with 4k / 25f PAL worked, I have to say I had never problems with video before. RC and P4 are updated. RC version 1.9.3
The copter now behaves more stable, but still not as in the previous version.
In  the round display for the direction of the flight, I noticed that with  return home, power consumption between 35% and 45% goes up and down very  quickly. Accordingly, the flight behavior is very unstable. The same effect when landing Powermanagement up and down, hot P4 shakes, then lands 5m above ground totally gently! I think DJI should take care of the control of the ESC, that could be the reason for this shaking.

What about the instability issue,it’s that been addressed . That is my biggest concern. Can you please update us on that.Again it’s been more than 2 months.Since update 106 which has turn out to be disaster.

Why is the P4 now smoother, but not perfect if only one camera problem has been fixed?
I had reset the P 4 to the version 01.02.0602, after the version 02.00.0106 had turned out to be an unstable dangerous control of the flight behavior (shake when hovering, strange engine sounds during the flight).
So I asked myself to provide a beta test version. It came the version 02.00.300 via Assistant 2 and had been used. The flight behavior had not changed after a test!
Since I was now officially made via Assistant 2 up and downgrading was made possible, I went back to testing for the official version 02.00.0106.
In the next attempt to fly I was now recommended an update via DJI Go, it was the version 02.00.0200! Luckily, I had a fast mobile internet connection with my iPad Air 2 and could do the update.
After rebooting P4 and DJI Go came a new request for an update, now on the version 02.00.300. I also did this update.
After restarting RC and P4, there was initially no image transmission, but the prompt to restart the P4 and to contact the support of DJI if the problem was not resolved.
After the restart again no image transmission with the same messages on DJI Go.
Since I do not give up so fast, I tried a third time the reboot of the P4 and there there was a picture transmission. In the test flight, I realized that the shaking while hovering was almost less present, likewise during the flying in the P mode, or S fashion only very few moments of the other of the engine noise and shake.
By autoreturn to home, i see that in the display of DJI Go the power value constantly went up and down quickly. It was 35% -45%, therefore shake and restless landing to a height of about 5m. From this altitude down evenly with a gentle landing without going up and down in the power indicator.

     The latest P4 update is a whole new DJI Assistant 2 v. 1.1.6.  It will update the Remote Controller to v. 1.9.3, so in your case it will be a refresh.  It will also need to refresh the Aircraft to v. 106 to replace the corrupted version from earlier with a fresh copy.  The Release Notes say;

• DJI GO 4 App Android: v4.1.10

What’s New
• Added support for Head Tracking function when connected with the DJI Goggles.

     This is the latest update and should replace the Beta firmware.  As far as I know, these are the last issues with the P4 that needed to be solved.

Coming up to 3 months. The 106 failware was made available on the 6th of July.

     That is weird.  When I go to that link, I get DJI Assistant 2 v1.1.6   Maybe you could go try again to see if it is updated.  The update was just a week or so ago (the 12th).  I cannot imagine that German Phantoms are different from US Phantoms.  The rules are different, that I understand!

     The weather is good enough for flying today.  I plan to update my P4 and see what happens.  It is all an adventure!  Even in a business, if you can enjoy what you do, you will never work.

Refresh now with Assistant 2 1.1.6 Calibrate and now I will test it today in the afternoon.
But the noise of your P4 is strange and not normal!

Test flight this afternoon after check and installation of Beta FW .300 with assistant 2 V 1.1.6 very unsatisfactory!
Hovering to autostart almost quiet, flight-phase strong shaking, strange new engine noise! Autolanding, very restless with strong shaking and rocking. Display of the horizon in the app shows the extreme rocking of the P4, 3m above ground again quiet and safe landing!
4k / 25f recording made no problems.

Thanks for sharing but this looks horrible. It doesn't look like much progress has been made with the firmware regarding stability/balancing.

I have tried the 300 beta....4k works ok, other formats video looks muddy. Jpeg photos are ok but dng raw are out of focus. Battery comsuption is higher. I have sent all this info to THOR with plenty of samples but no response yet.

Latest Version of DJI app in South Africa is  4.1.9

Any ideas on how to download 10?

Obviously, the app in Europe is earlier brought to new versions. After updating to iOS 11, the DJI Go app was also updated immediately! Unfortunately, I have no idea where you can download the latest version!

Hi, I only had one flight withe the latest Beta and I already noticed I don't have the wobbling at the end of the draw mode.
I still have bad WiFi transmission and IMU error until the IMU warms up. Then the error message is gone. I tried many times to calibrate the IMU without any luck.

Please check if there is an error message on the app after the initialization finished. Is it very cold in your place, if yes, IMU error might emerge when the temperature is too low.

Did the drone crash after the repaired? If not, I would recommend you refresh the aircraft and controller firmware again and link RC to see whether it helps.

Please refer my suggestions in 31# to confirm first. The latest beta firmware is trying to fix the camera issue and wobble, please kindly note.
