So close to being a perfect product. I understand 4K video can’t be done, but please give us a RAW photo option on the Spark.

This would certainly help the little sensor giving a bit more headroom for adjustments.

For $499, you're not getting RAW my man.  It's a matter of product seperation.  

flymore combo is more money simular price to my mobile phone which has a 12 mp camera and a Raw option .
Be great to have that option on Spark .....please please ...!!!

Considering fly more combo is NOT that much less than basic Mavic which also comes with remote, i dont really see your argument of it being cheaper valid.  Also, Mavic would still be a much much more capable device even if Sparky got the raw support.

I'm all over RAW. How good would it be...

Hopefully the engineers will consider this in the future.

I hope so... it would be a much welcomed addition to the Spark!

I don't understand how my argument becomes invalid when you simply repeat it in a different way.  Why do you believe products must be separated by huge percentages to have differences?  Every bought a car?  Or a fridge?  Or an oven?  Or dryer?  Or a washing machine?  Or water heater?  Or a hose?  Or a cup?  

Or a drone?

It's just basic product differentiation.  It's extremely common and happens in all industries.  Sometimes what separates them is just a few bucks.  Much like when you buy a car, trust that a feature from a higher end model will not suddenly appear in it one day (unless your driving a Tesla of course).  Really it's not debatable.  The only other argument would be they forgot to turn on RAW - which is just a ridiculous notion.  CLEARLY - it doesn't have RAW due to the price point.  

It's possible when the 2nd Spark comes out I suppose, in an effort to get rid of back stock.  But even then I doubt it.

I try to shoot underexposed most of the time to try to recover the darks.  It’s easier to correct darks than overexposed highlights.
