I just got back from flying and see DJI GO 4 Version 4.1.10 on the play store, the changelog states "Optimized image transmission quality" for the Spark. I hope it's true ever since 4.1.8 it's been horrid for me. Anyone had a chance to try it? I will for sure tomorow.

They can start by me being able to see my altitude, velocity, and distance at the bottom of the screen...

Sorry to hear  you are having image issues. Please update the app as you have time. Let us know if the image problems get better.

The only way this DJI go app to work on Android is to have a phone 2 years old with a pure Android clean rom inside.....Thats the way....

That is exactly what I am using, Motorola Moto G first generation. Android is pretty much stock, although not very powerful it runs the App OK most of the time.

So just tried to have my first fly in two weeks as the weather has been bad, now i cant remember the app version but I'm on 4.1.9 now and have had 3 app frozen/forced closes.... one mid flight and had, thankfully Line of sight of it, and flew it home myself. the second the app all of a sudden lost GPS and the AC froze in the sky wouldn't even respond to the RC movements.... then the last one was that the app showed the AC was in ATTI mode, went to go into settings before taking off and the app closed again...

All my flying is with google pixel connected to the RC at all times. never have I flown with just mobile.

I would not recommend you fly in bad weather. Please check the GPS signal is well before flight.
Since the environment is an important element in flight performance, make sure that you fly your spark again in a place without interference. Hope you can have a nice flight.

Even I'm facing issues with image transmission quality after 4.1.8. its very lagging. I had been flying on same places before and the transmission quality was perfect. I hope this has been fixed in 4.1.10. but its not yet available for me..

I have got the 4.1.10 a few days ago. I can see no changes in comparison to the 4.1.9. For me it's working.

Got Version 4.1.10 Android last night, flew first thing this morning in bright autumn sun. No problems at all.
Height upto 300 ft, Distance 400ft. Flew for 12 mins, solid connection at all times. Used OTG connection to Nexus 7 (2013) tablet.

Took 8 video clips and around 40 Stills. Made this panorama over the village I live in

Well I see no difference compared to prior versions, still very high latency in the video transmission. I will have to experiment with other hardware to better the situation.  

It's stunning how bad the lag is, at least on Android with wifi to the remote.

Today I have experimented with an old Lenovo Tab 2 A-7 and it works great, so that will be my new screen.

I have had the same issue with connection with my Pixel on WiFi. It would work and suddenly app would crash randomly, especially when recording. Twice I was recording and the video stopped by itself and I couldn't change it to photo or record again. I'll stick with OTG cable, but the app still crashes regardless.

Rubbish - I have a OnePlus3 and have had zero problems and absolutely never had the app crash on me.

Aún no llegó a la PlayStore de Argentina... a seguir participando!!! (usualmente las actualizaciones del DJI GO las recibo BASTANTE después que el resto del mundo, excepto cuando se da junto con las actualizacione de FW del Spark)

No hay razón de ponerse triste, la versión 4.1.10 no cambiaría sus vidas.

I was wondering if there was any idea as to when the android 4.1.10 would be out.  I tried it on APK mirror  but when i download it to my tablet, (nexus 7 2013) it keeps saying app (dji go) not installed when i try and install the flie.  any help would be greatly appreciated.  Ty in advance

NM. I had to get apk editor and use it after uninstalling dji on my android.  Got i to work.  Hope this helps if anyone else has the same issue.

I just got my Spark and I am waiting the new app.

I thought I read that the OTG cable was not
supported with the Spark. Can someone
clarify that?

we want official update please !  

I have had had 4.1.10 installed (Android) for the past few days but not had the chance to use it... but there is an update available in the play store as of today, but it's 4.1.9.
Has 4.1.10 been pulled?

4.4.10 official now released on playstore,  most of my friends have updated just now.  but on my note 5 still no update yet

Just downloaded version 4.1.10 and cannot install it on my Nvidia Shield k1. It says the package may be corrupted. Same download installed fine on HTC One phone... I am used to fly with the Shield k1, any solution???

DJI GO V4.1.10 Android

This version worked for me,  at least as far as finally allowing DJI GO 4, to completely download and install the program on my unsupported  Nexus 5X.  Never could get the version available at Google Play store to even download to my  phone

I'm living in Hong Kong, the DJI GO 4 on Google Play is still at 4.1.9

I updated on my Nexus 6P yesterday, now on 4.1.10, quik test last evening, it was about to get dark. But image signa worse than ever. Will test again in daylight....

I upgraded to 4.1.9 and my image transmission was pathetic.. I downgraded to 4.1.5 and image transmission was good and there was no lag.. I haven't got 4.1.10 yet.. using Lenovo K5 Vibe.

Say bud, could you send me the process of getting it to work with apk editor? And does it need to be rooted for whatever you did to work?
