Hello guys! I would know what is the max temperature outside in ºC that I could fly with safety and no damage for AC?

Thanks

The cooler the better.  I try not to fly in temps above 27 C or so.  I know that's not quite what you're looking for.  That's my own guideline.

Apparently, -10* C ~ +50*C is the suggested operating temperature, lows and highs.

I know there are several of us pilots who have flown at lower temps.

You need to keep your batteries warm, before taking off.
At or near +50*C that wouldn't be a problem. Ha

Keeping the batteries warm (in cold climates) will help extend the time it will power an electronic device, that's for sure. One does need to let the drone acclimate to the temp of the environment you plan to shoot video in so the camera lens doesn't fog up, lol!

Yeah, here in Brazil even 3 or 4 pm sometimes is 30~34 ºC , so its very hot. But I'm trying to flying more late, to not overheat the system... hehe

I would be more concerned about overheating myself.

When it gets past +30* C I begin to think about a siesta. ;-)

You should be fine, even flying during the daytime, if you can handle it, so shall your multi rotor.

At +36*C, I'd be sweltering. Sweating to the oldies even, that's me. ;-)

But if you were to keep the Pina Colada stream flowing, over ice, I would be fine... Ha

That high heat, would certainly be a rare day, up here, in central Alberta.

In a couple of months, we shall be luxuriating in dual digits, below zero.
Actually -36*C is not uncommon. Bundle up!!

The working temperature of battery should be around -10℃ to 40℃. Fire or explosion can be caused if the environment temperature is above 50℃.

Was the high temperature changed recently, from +50*C down to +40*C?

Not that I will ever be flying in that scorching heat.

I see some drones can fly in much hotter temps.

I have never flown below about 10c but have frequently flown when it’s above 35c. DJI’s  documented specs are one thing but, In practice, it’s the personal comfort aspect that is more likely to influence when you fly. I mean, who really wants to be standing outside flying a drone when it’s 38c? (almost 100f)

I can't answer that question, but I can tell you one thing, from experience.

Flying at +35*C sure beats flying in -35*C.

Funny thing about thermometers, once it reaches -40*C it's the same as -40*F.
When it's that cold out, even the thermometers don't care anymore.... Ha

Even with long johns and thermal underwear, you still freeze the brass monkey. ;-)

Page 62 of the P4A manual v1.0 states the aircraft operating temperature range is 0C to 40C
It does not state exactly why, but others have indicated that at or near 50C can result in fire or explosion of the battery.  Other factors might include motor temp limits, and camera ops might also be affected.
Seems that if you are approaching 35C you should judge whether continued ops is proper.  Remember your battery gets hot all on its own when in use, so it will be warmer than the OAT.

Maybe after you take off, it takes some air, and cool a little, but its not good to take this risk.

Lots of comments about having to stand outside in the heat.  Do most of you have to hike a long distance before taking off or something?  I just turn on the drone and set it outside and then sit down in the car with ice cold air conditioning.  The range is surprisingly unaffected.  This also cuts down on the number of people you get walking by and wanting to have a confrontation, because they can't see the RC if you hold it below window level.

If you are having to hike a long ways I think I'd buy a smaller drone!

Sir, what I referred is the recommended working temperature, instead of the maximum. Take care when the environment get too hot.

I've flown in 41C degrees.  Batteries have gotten hot enough you don't want to handle them too long.

I live in the desert and I have had my black body Nikon camera's LCD turn an inky black due to heat when we were out in the 45C heat, but they worked again once cooled down.  I use a thermal blanket over them now to stay cool out there.  Black tripods are no fun to grab either so a towel is needed and I've used a thermal gun on them and they got up to about 63C.

I've flown from -35C to +35C...    In the +30's I've seen my battery get up to the low 50's.

At -30 the battery only gets up to the low +20's , BUT I've never noticed any reduction in flight time.

The only extreme temperature I may ever experience are cold ones. Unfortunately the hot climates are much farther south from central Alberta.

I've flown near 0c. Kept the batteries warm on a big plastic bag full of warm porridge oats. Warm batteries and a feed, too. It gets hot here in summer but I've never flown over 25c.

Yes, but I would rather fry than freeze.  I only like cold when there is snow and I have skis on my feet.

um it was only 31 ℃ yesterday @ 1700. According to Airdata the battery temp hit 49.95℃. Thank goodness it didn't get to 50 but maybe it would be a good idea if I went for early morning or late evening flights. Mind you it was a ten minute flight so maybe that helps push the temp up.
Last summer there were a couple of flights in 42℃+. Heat wasn't the problem it was the flies!
