Anyone tried the reliability of Gesture mode and Active track using SPARK at night time.  Or might as well not risk it?  Thanks!

Won't work, at least not reliably. Both modes rely on contrast of the subject against the background. Obviously, less of that in the dark. When I attended the launch event, which was done indoors, it had issues responding to gestures unless the lights were turned all the way up (it was in a studio). My recommendation is DON'T try it.

Though I wonder how Active Track would work if you were wearing lights....

probably ok if its not programed to look for dark on a light background, but rather edges. You'd want open space as collision avoidance wouldn't work.

In the US, FAA regulations prohibit flyng after dark unless an exeption has been granted and the craft meets certain conditions for visibility.  Though you bring up an interesting use case that I'm sure the FAA never imagined when they crafted their regulations.  The technologies are outpacing the laws and regulations.

didn't try active track, but tried quick shot long back.. tried circle, rocket and dronie.. it worked well on low light conditions
