bringing a drone is now forbidden according to Morocco regulation and customs.
2 situations are possible:
1. customs find your drone when you arrive in the country. In this case customs keep your drone until you leave the country. first 3 days are free then you pay some custody fees.
2. customs do not find it when you arrive but they see it when you leave with the x ray. in this case your drone is confiscated and you have to pay a fine. dont ask me how to get it back, it must be a nightmare in this country. I am not even sure there is way to get it back.
So you are warned and leave it at home if you go to morocco for holidays...
I was unaware of this regulation and accidentally brought my mavic into Morocco. On exit they instantly recognized it while scanning on entry at airport and confiscated it. I had to sign something saying I didn't have money and avoided the fine but the mavic is gone. Do NOT take your drone to Morocco.
