Are you using IOS or Android. On IOS 4.1.11 there is no distance bar at the bottom, only a vertical speed bar on the right.

I am using iOS. I use the latest Dji Go app, and also iOS 11. That might be the difference.

I have IOS11 on an Ipad Mini 4 with the latest firmware and app and I don't have the distance slider.

I've been trying to use Quick shots and my firmware is up-to-date and three calls with DG I said reinstall your software on your tablet the second time was reinstall Factory firmware and then update everything third time the guy said only 5% of the people have got the rollout so far you'll just have to wait. What the heck is going on is it released to everybody or am I just getting a bunch of BS?

To add a few hints....  You can stop the maneuver by moving a joystick AGAINST the direction of the quick shot, i.e. down or left (if turning right)
To get the distance slider, tap the quickshot mode again, after selecting the subject and before giving the OK
Last (quite obvious) the length of the recording depends on the distance and speed selected for the quickshot. Try several setttings

Easter Egg: I am trying to record the same quickshot simultaneously with two Mavic and compose them in the "two eye" option of the free and superb GoPro Studio 2. Will post the result once tested

Next firmware i want to see more quick shot. It very easy and safety for control.
