I was zooming into a panorama that I made with the spark. I found this on a building about a 1/2 mile away. The panorama photographed this spot four times and all four of the original images have this same artifact in the same place. Weird.. It almost looks like something is causing a reflection of the circuritry inside the camera chip. Or is this some sort of watermark that the spark puts on our images???? Very strange.

It's a mosaic or maze artifact. This is due to a combination of the sensor and the algorithm used to process the raw information.
LouisP, please don't feel worry about it. There is nothing wrong with your spark. The camera failed to deal with this kind of texture and the effect is caused by false color+maze+moire. Please feel free to ask for help if you still have doubt.
