I use finalcut pro X to edit my work.
My cameras film at 25fps, Spark at 30fps.

Finalcut has a funtion "Automatic Speed"

In a 25fps timeline a clip from spark using "Automatic Speed" will play every frame. (83% speed)...

I see slight video stutter in the attached vid at 25fps. Would the final vid  be better if you were to use the frame blending or optical mode in fcpx?

Too bad it does not work like it should.
There is still stutter and the motion looks bad.
Also the people have a unnatural slow movement.
Thanks for uploading this!
I will just wait for Spark to support 25fps

Did you try to change the framerate with a program like mp4box? Maybe it will have a better effect.

The framerate is just a hint of the container for the video player at which rate the video should be played. You can change that without re-encoding the video, but the video playback will be slowed down or sped up (if you have audio you have to deal with that, but probably you don't have it here).

In any way this doesn't solve the issue of the missing 25fps option...

If you are working with a 25fps timeline and adding spark footage you will need to conform the spark footage frame rate from 30fps down to 25fps. Here is a link to Apple Support on how to set the clip to be conformed.
This will prevent the stutter you get when mixing spark footage with different output frame rates. Using this method and choosing Optical Flow you will get the best output.

I have yet to see 30fps footage that got converted to 25fps and still looks good.
I tried various methods on my PC and none were good enough.

Just keep hoping DJI will add 25fps soon.

I conform all my footage thats not 23.97 down to 23.97 using optical flow as I like to capture in a cinematic way (180 degree shutter rule etc...) and the output from the spark has been great, its a bit crappy at a 24Mbps bitrate but only using very short clips the viewers hopefully don't notice the short drop in quality.

Do you have some Spark example online?
Curious how it looks.

Ok it has Spatial Conform; Frame Sampling: Floor, Nearest Neighbor, Frame Blending, Optical Flow

I'm going to do a sample with this options

Yes it doesn't solve the problem of 25fps...
But using Automatic Speed solve my problem for now, i can use spark footage in my videos... it looks ok.

TO FIX STUTTER - download "Handbrake" for free and just batch process all your videos BEFORE importing to iMovie or FinalCut. You have to convert Spark's 29.98 variable fps to 29.97 constant fps. Your edited videos will look as smooth as the raw footage before you import. Here is a link that explains how it works. Good luck!

Hello all! Hi solved the problem with DaVinci Resolve. The workflow is this:
1-Set project to 25 fps
2-Import single spark footage in the media pool
3-Right click on the footage and select "Clip Attributes"
4-Set 25 in Video Frame Rate and click ok
5-create a new timeline with only this clip
6-Go in the deliver tab and set all the settings. Is important to set 25  in the frame rate tab and "Single clip" in the file tab(because if you set individual clips for do many clips in one time, can cause problems).
7- Add to render queue and render out!
8-Now you have your spark clip at 25 fps with no stuttering
PS- If you have  to use the clip with the audio, there is a sincro problem, because the audio was recordered at 29,97 fps and you can't bring him to 25 fps without problems.

Hope this post can help you guys! Sorry for my bad english! See ya ;)
