The firmware has arrived.  DJI GO4 version 4.1.12 app just appeared in the apple store and the new firmware .700 has NOT been released YET.

My DJI Assistant didn't find any update

What does firmware 0.700 bring to the spark table??
Sphere? Paper plane mode??

When do we get Sphere panorama and ..........raw/dng. support for Spark .........looking forward to those .........!?

Still no 0700 firmware.  Just checked a couple seconds ago.  Do they do staged rollout with firmware as well?

I would guess so, otherwise servers might struggle.

Try the 4.1.12 if it solve the wifi transmission range problem,

The Firmware for 0700 not yet announce by DJI Officially post.....  

Looks like some nice updates (... only still no 25fps)

Please wait for the firmware "very" patiently.

I am referring to the changes in the DJI Go4 update from yesterday that can be seen in the app store.
Dynamic home point,
Optimized image transmission
Quickshots without SD card
3 second countdown on quickshots
Lock frequencies

I don't own a Spark yet (still waiting for 25fps) so I can't confirm on the FW.

Hi there!

I don´t see the new Firmware in the DJI Assistant.. How about you folks? I updated the Assistant Software to the newest version but still there's only version 01.00.0600 available. Do i have to do the update via DJI Go App?

EDIT: I also don´t see the update in the DJI Go App...

Thanks for clarifying. I haven't even received the DJI GO4 4.1.10 on my Samsung S7 yet, I wonder when 4.1.12 will even arrive for me. That's one long staged rollout.

I guess, because it takes time to get a new version of the app to the Apple appstore, they finish to a point with new features and push it there first - before the new firmware is done testing. You can push to the android playstore in just a couple of hours, so it is not the problem there. They can push it there just before the new firmware becomes available.

Also the app for ios doesn't necessary follow the same version numbers as the app for android so it is meaningless to compare them.

It is normal that there is a gap of one version number between Adroid and iOS Apps with iOS being one number ahead. But they correspond and have the same features. Just these days we are facing a heavy inflation in App versions and it takes time until they become available everywhere. Thus patience is the virtue required right now...

Downloaded 4.1.12 from Apple App Store last night (it was actually in my app update list).  This morning I launched the app and it posted a message saying a new firmware update is required.  Connected the app to my spark and the download started and completed within 2 minutes.  

Looked for the new features:
   -  Didn't see the new Sphere function  
   -  Timed Shots does appear: 2s, 3s, 5s, 7s, 10s, 15s, 20s, 30s and 60s
   -  don't see any of the other features .. will keep looking.

There was an update to the GEO fencing database that was released with 4.1.12 but no firmware yet.  Still shows .600 as the current version.  Are you sure you updated to firmware version .700?  It dosen't show as an option in DJI Assistant 2.

Since no on else has chimed in, I assume Sparky is confused.

No 0.700 released - (for Canada at least) - does anyone have this new firmware ? - if not maybe thread should be deleted to prevent confusion (or title changed if possible)

Just checked no .700 - I'm about to go to the park for some flights - watch it will ask to update when I'm all set to go

No 0700 FW in UK as yet - just v.12 of GO 4 and geo fence update.

Sorry for the confusion.  The updated displayed on my GO4 app wasn't the firmware update to .700.  Just double checked and still at .600.

So this was just a DJI GO4 app update to 4.1.12.

I would add as well that development for iPhone is usually an easier path than Android (I own an Android, that's not meant to be an attack on Android).  The reason for this is that the IOS hardware is under direct control of Apple, so IOS development will need fewer code branches.  Android has many variants.  It's much more time consuming to test and certify applications for Android.

They have no idea how to make a working version on Android that's why....

Latest update BRICKED my ipad mini 2

iPad mini2 (wifi)
iOS 11.0.1
Go4 4.1.12

All updated, all uninstalled and reinstalled.
All cables genuine

Was all working until updated to latest version. Now neither my Mavic Pro nor my Phantom 4 will recognise that a tablet is plugged in.
I've tried multiple cables both genuine and fake. All cables work perfectly with my laptop and other devices.
I've tried Samsung tablet with both drones and they connect no problem.

So if it's not the cables and not the drones, then it has to be the DJI Go4 app and iOS11.

FIX IT DJI.... just fix it!!!

is this related to the cable to connect your device to the rc via OTG cable?  If so, I'm sure I've seen other post in which OTG cables aren't supported anymore due to Goggle.  Someone can pitch in here and answer the above issue from Jas1964
