iPhone 7 Plus 256GB okay to update to the latest iOS 11 with no problems with DJI GO app now? What are your thoughts DJI?

I haven't heard from DJI directly, but myself and others have had no issues after converting to IOS11 (due to the new OS).

No issues with iOS11 and 11.01 on my iPhone 7. Works good.

The new updates to IOS11 are safe to download with respect to the DJI App.  If there are any issues, you can always send me a personal message on the forum.

Hello , my IPhone 6s does not playback my videos after I transfer them from my MP.  This only  happened  since I updated my phone to IOS 11. Any suggestions?

If it ain't broke don't break it by updating it.

iOS 11 and DJI GO 4 has some serious compatibility issues... DJI Updated the GO app and then Apple puts out an update to break it; then DJI puts out an update to fix it and Apple puts out another update. What a silly game! ~ Stick with what you have if it is working. I am using iOS 10.3.3 and GO v4.1.11 it's working so I am going to leave it alone.

Are you talking about IOS 11.0 or IOS 11.0.1 ?

I've gone to IOS 11.0.1 which I think performs faster for some reason with the latest version of DJI Go4

With iOS 11 and DJIGO4 recent updates I cannot open the go4 app to fly my Mavic. Litchi still works. Any help with the go4 app?

What format videos are you trying to transfer and play? The 6s can't do Mavic 4K, nor can the 7 -- don't know about the 8/X.

There has not been an official word on this. However, having seen many of the postings that is what the majority of people are saying.

Gotcha, thanks. I think I'm going to hold out just a little bit longer to see how things shake out, or until DJI sends an all-clear.

My iPhone 6s has IOS 11.01.   After transferring my videos from my MP not only do they not playback but I cannot edit or even Airdrop the file to my Ipad or any device.  I get a message saying unable to share, error preparing to share and to try back later. Still pictures transfer just fine.

Just to clarify, video resolutions above 1080p cannot be played on DJI GO 4 app, do you get any error message when transferring the video from Mavic Pro to the app? Could you please provide me with a short video for your case? Thank you.

Thanks for the reply...I went into video settings from the viewfinder screen on my Iphone and reset all settings to default. That did the trick.  Playback on the Iphone now works after transfering/Downloading.  Just to let you know before I did the reset the videos would play directly to the phone....it was only after downloading they would not play.

All working fine here

As per previous umpteen threads, ios11 has been pretty much trouble free for users. Even for those that had been using early beta versions. Enjoy

This week I finally upgraded my iPhone 7 to iOS11.0.1. Didn't fly, but tested connectivity, and all seemed good. Since then iOS 11.0.2 has come out, to which I also updated, and today I had a chance to go fly.

Sadly, I experienced lots of video connection issues, resolved in-flight by unplugging and replugging my USB cable. I'm testing the beta of Hangar 360 2.0 and it also had problems relaying video. Also received a bunch of scary messages to check app, recalibrate this and that, all of which went away after the IMU initialized.

I am probably going to revert to iOS10 until this gets straightened out, which makes me sad because I am really digging the new Apple Maps, the redesign of which means I can read it when mounted on my car dashboard.

It depends on hardware You use iOS 11 is more demanding, so lower power devices like iPAD mini's in certain cases might be a problem. I have problem with iPAD mini 4, iOS 11.0.1 and latest DJI GO 4 Only when turning screen recording - which leads to choppy and torn video feed on screen and I did an upgrade Only for screen recording feature

No issues so far with flying the Mavic and using the goggles. iPad mini 4 with latest ios.

I have updated my iPhone 7 plus with no issues.

I had no trouble with iPad Mini 4 so far...

I had connection problems (iphone 7+).

after upgrading to iOS 11.0.2. it again works.

Iphone 8 with 11.0.2 and latest Go version.  No connection at all.  Any suggestions?

I had issues with 11.0.1-talked to dji, they said working on issue. I’ve since then downloaded 11.0.3- everything works fine now. 11.0.1=SUCKED! Now all is good.

No issues in IOS 11.3 on my iPhone 7+ with the latest FW and GO 4 app version. Did three flights today in fact and not a single problem - I did reinstall the app and refresh my AC firmware and recalibrated the IMU before heading out though and flew in an open area well away from any interference to be safe.

Thats probably going to do it.  Mine was still on 11.0.2.  Didn't know a new one was out.  Here is to hoping.

I am using an iPhone 5s and an iPad Pro (2015). Both run the newest public iOS 11 beta software and have the latest version of DJI GO installed.
Using the same USB port on the controller and the same cable, the iPhone does not connect while the iPad does.
I tried both ports with the iPhone and none of them works. Restarting the phone as well as reinstalling the app does nothing.
When plugging in, the iPhone does the usual thing (pretending it was charging for a second), but it just does not connect.
Connecting via WiFi works, but ... you know.
As everything is working fine on the iPad with the same version of iOS 11, I have also faced the same issue with appeven app but they resolved the issue as soon as I contacted them.I wouldn’t be so sure that the problem is in the OS. Could be. Could also be DJI GO. If that was the case, DJI should fix this at least before iOS 11 gets released, or I imagine a lot of people will be quite angry ;)

Application lauches a login screen and It freezes cannot logon, register, etc. Reloaded app and nada.

Hello, i ´m newbie  and this is my first post, i´m owner of mavic pro and i bought recently and ipad 9.7 2017 that comes with ios 10.3.3, my question is if it´s better wait a time to update ios 11 or wait with 10.3.3 until dji go 4 app  has support for  my device with ios 11?
